No. The Home Technology Blueprint is a design and planning service. It includes a 3D home scan, Wi-Fi and/or camera placement plan, equipment recommendations, and planning-level budget options. Installation can be quoted separately if you decide to move forward.
How much does it cost?
$149 for homes up to 3,000 sq ft and $199 for 3,000–5,000 sq ft, with Wi-Fi planning. Adding security camera planning is $50 more. Homes over 5,000 sq ft and complex properties are reviewed individually. Nothing is charged on this page — the fee is invoiced after the discovery call, and only if the project is a fit.
Can this be done without running cables?
Sometimes. A UniFi mesh option may work well in certain homes, but wired access points are still the best option for maximum stability and performance.
Can you help with installation?
If you decide to move forward, the Blueprint can help guide a separate installation proposal with an appropriate installation provider where required. Installation is not included in the Blueprint fee.
Do I have to install everything after the Blueprint?
No. The Blueprint is yours to keep. You can use it now, save it for later, or request a separate installation proposal.
Does the Blueprint guarantee perfect Wi-Fi speeds?
No. The Blueprint is a planning tool based on home layout, recommended placement, and best practices. Final performance can vary based on building materials, interference, ISP service, equipment selection, device limitations, and installation quality.
Do you work with cameras too?
Yes. The Wi-Fi + Camera Blueprint includes recommended camera locations, coverage review, blind spot notes, and UniFi camera/NVR equipment recommendations.
Is UniFi better than my ISP router?
For many homes, yes. A properly designed UniFi system can provide better coverage, scalability, and management than a single ISP router or random consumer mesh system.

What if my home is over 5,000 sq ft?
Homes over 5,000 sq ft, complex layouts, guest houses, multi-building properties, or large estates are quoted individually. Submit the form and we will agree the right scope and price during the discovery call.
Is the Blueprint fee credited toward installation?
In some cases, Blueprint fees may be credited toward a future installation project. Ask during your discovery call for current options.
I rent my home. Can I request a Blueprint?
Yes, but if your plan includes cameras, mounting, wiring, or future installation, please confirm permission from the property owner first.
